About Table Tennis Bradford on Avon
We meet every Friday evening, 6.30 - 8.30 p.m. 52 weeks a year, unless Christmas Day falls on a Friday.
Our venue is the Youth and Community Centre in Frome Road, next door to Fitzmaurice Primary School, BA15 1LE.
You can stay for the whole 2 hour session or turn up and leave at whatever time suits you.
We need to make a small charge to cover our overheads; this is currently £3 for adults and £1 for U18s, however long you stay.
4 tables are available and bats and balls are provided or you can bring your own.
U18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
There are several table tennis clubs in the Bradford on Avon area but ours is different as we don't have teams or play in leagues. So, we're not competing with the other clubs, just complementing them. If you find you like playing and want to take your game to a higher level you might like to try them out; we can let you have contact details.
If you're interested in giving us a go just turn up on a Friday evening or get in touch:

HELPFUL TIPS ABOUT TABLE TENNIS BRADFORD on AVON
I'M A COMPLETE BEGINNER CAN I STILL COME?
Yes, even if you've never picked up a table tennis bat in your life that's no problem at all, we'll show you how to get started and teach you the rules.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It's just £1 for U18s and £3 for adults. There is no joining fee or annual subscription.
I DON'T HAVE A BAT OR BALL, IS THAT OK?
Of course it is. We have a range of bats and plenty of balls, as well as 4 tables. So you just need to turn up in comfortable clothes and footwear.
DO I HAVE TO COME TO EVERY SESSION?
If you want to improve it's best to come as often as you can. Also, we need to keep up our numbers to create a healthy and thriving club. However, we realise that family commitments, illness and other things may occasionally prevent you from coming along and that's fine.
DO I HAVE TO STAY FOR THE WHOLE SESSION?
No, stay as long as you wish. You can come later or finish earlier, it's up to you. However, you will still have to pay for the whole session as we have our overheads to cover.
